A Different Approach to Meaningful Stone Memorials

Our story began with a personal loss. When our owner, Micah Kuhn, lost his mother, his family faced the same challenges many families experience when searching for a memorial. Options were limited, prices were high, and timelines stretched anywhere from nine to 18 months. The process felt impersonal, slow, and disconnected from what a memorial should represent.
While exploring alternatives, Micah discovered a different way to create monuments, using engineered stone and natural rock instead of polished granite or marble. These stone memorials stood out immediately. Each one was unique, substantial, and full of character. More importantly, they could be produced in a more reasonable timeframe without sacrificing durability or meaning.
That experience led to the creation of Boulder Designs by Hero in Locust Grove, GA. Our purpose is simple. We help families, homeowners, and organizations create custom stone features that last and feel personal. Whether it’s a monument gravestone, address boulder, or memorial bench, every project is handled with care, clear communication, and dependable timelines.
